A "typical" student would probably follow this matriculation:

                Elective Course (0.5)
Grade 10: Economics (0.5)
Grade 11 U.S. History (1.0)

Grade 12- chose electives

Electives in Social Studies While this is the minimum requirement we urge and find students to take more than the minimum. Students are invited to take as many social studies courses as their schedules allow. Available electives in the social studies  include:

Anthropology
Sociology I & II
Consumer Economics
Psychology AP
Psychology A
Psychology B
Modern European History AP
Economics AP
Contemporary Issues

Many of the Social Studies courses are leveled with either A, B, or C. A level courses are apt to move at a much faster pace and go into more detail than the B or C levels. The Advance Placement courses (AP) are designed to prepare students for the advanced placement tests which are administered in May. These accelerated courses provide with an opportunity to earn college credit.
