Pinkerton Academy's mission is to provide a learning experience for students that have not succeeded academically or socially in the traditional classroom setting. 

We are committed to providing a safe, diverse, and nurturing environment that promotes academic alternatives, and the development of skills and values necessary for future success. 

We are also committed to providing students with quality educational opportunities that enable/empower student to become independent, self-sufficient life long learners and productive members of the community.

Evening School

Students can attend evening school for recovery credits, adult diploma, and as part of a alternative education plan. Classes are held in the afternoons and evenings Monday through Thursday.

GED Option Program

For students 16 years old with at least 9 credits. This option is for students to obtain their GED certificate in conjunction with the Upper Room in Derry, NH.

Skill Center

Students can raise their GED pre-test scores by attending efficiency classes in Math, Reading, and Writing. These classes are held after school 2:30 - 4:00, Monday through Thursday.

Alternative Learning Plans

This program works with students who are not able to obtain a diploma through a traditional 4 year day school.
