This document shows how buses are organized for end-of-the-day at Pinkerton. It also includes the phone numbers of local bus companies which service communities whose high school studfents attend Pinkerton.

This document describes traffic flow, restrictons and parking at Pinkerton including the start and end of each school day.

Community Service

This brochure describes many of the Community Service projects performed in the 2011-2012 school year by Pinkerton students, faculty and staff. Every school year, Pinkerton undertakes a similar commitment to community service.

For certain CTE courses, this form must be completed and submitted to the CTE office in addition to selection via Edline. The specific courses are listed on this form.

Course Selection Waiver Form

Parents may submit a Course Selection Waiver Form to have their student take a course other than what is listed on the Course and Contact Verification Sheet.

To submit a course selection waiver:

  • Click on the Edline link (also listed on the left hand side of this page).
  • Under the NEWS section, click on Course Selection Waiver Form.
  • Be sure to fill out all requested fields.
  • Be sure to click on SUBMIT when finished.

You will receive a confirmation email with a copy of the Course Selection Waiver Form submitted.

The Crow Parent Newsletter

The Crow is a regularly published newsletter for parents of Pinkerton students outlining upcoming events and information.

Daily Announcements 2012-2013

As a service to the Pinkerton community, we post the Daily Announcements that are read each morning over the school's public address system.

This service does NOT eliminate the responsibility of students to monitor each day's Announcements -- and especially to take advantage of opportunities described in the Announcements.

  • Edline Activation

    Edline is an online portal for Parents and Students to access information such as grades, homework, attendance, and more. The link above will give you instructions on how to active your Edline account.

    If you do not have an activation code, please send an email to edlinerequest@pinkertonacademy.org. Include your first and last name along with the first name, last name, and ID number of your student(s).

    Internet Acceptable Use Policy

    Pinkerton Academy provides all students with the opportunity to utilize the internet as a means of garnering resources to support research and for other educational endeavors. This document outlines to policy of acceptable use of the internet and computer equipment.

    Internet Safety Tips

    Pinkerton Academy provides these Internet Safety Tips from Special Investigator Jennifer Frank of the Plymouth State University Police Department. Officer Frank is a recognized expert in Internet safety; she regularly speaks to students, civic groups and the general public about "The Many Faces of Facebook."

    Pinkerton encourages students to practice Internet safety when on line, especially in social media. Pinkerton also encourages parents and older siblings to help young people be safe when on line. The recommendations of Officer Frank can help a great deal.

    MLA Citations Guide

    In English and other classes, you will be asked to use the MLA (Modern Language Association) system for documenting sources. This guide shows how to write citations that follow guidelines set forth in the MLA Style Manual and Guide to Scholarly Publishing, 3rd edition.

    Turn-It-In is Pinkerton Academy's anti-plagiarism program. This page provides instructions on how students can use the program to submit papers and projects.
